Nomination Form for NADT Annual Awards

Nominations must be received by July 18, 2009.

CONFIDENTIAL NOMINATION FORM for 2009 AWARDS
Nomination must be received on this form and made by paid 2009-10 NADT members/registry. Nominations must be received by July 18, 2009 to be considered for this year's award. Nominees must be a member in good standing of NADT.

NADT SERVICE AWARD
This award is given to recognize a member who has volunteered substantial time and effort serving the association on committees, subcommittees, or regional chapters on a specific project or series of projects.

NADT STUDENT SERVICE AWARD
This award is given to recognize a student member of NADT who has volunteered substantial time and effort serving the association, the student members of NADT, and/or students of drama therapy at large on a project or series of projects in the past year. The purpose of this award is to demonstrate to students that the association values their contributions to the field, for they are the future of drama therapy.

RAYMOND JACOBS MEMORIAL DIVERSITY AWARD
This award is given to a member of NADT in recognition of outstanding dedication to diversity in the field of drama therapy, through advocacy, championing a diverse membership, or working to increase the skill, awareness and cultural competence.

NADT RESEARCH AWARD
This award is given to a member of NADT in recognition of significant contributions to the field through research demonstrating the efficacy of drama therapy.

GERTRUD SHATTNER AWARD
This award has been given since 1995 in recognition of distinguished contribution to the field of drama therapy in education, publication,practice, and service. Past recipients of the Gertrud Schattner Award have been David Read Johnson, Robert Landy, Renee Emunah, Pat Sternberg, Stephen Snow, Sue Jennings, the late Penny Lewis, Eleanor Irwin, the late Rosilyn Wilder, Sally Bailey and Norman Fedder. This award is not necessarily given every year.
