RDT Reinstatement for Lapsed RDTs

If you need to reinstate your Registry after a lapse of time, you will need to submit the following information to NADT in care of the Registry Committee:

1. Five copies of a reinstatement request letter explaining when your Registry lapsed, why you wish to be reinstated, and what you have done to stay current in drama therapy within the last two years. Make sure your letter has complete current contact information included at the very top: your address, phone numbers, and email, so that the Registry committee can contact you if there is need.

2. Five copies of the RDT CE Form showing a minimum of 30 continuing education hours done in the last two years (see Forms section of website for this form) with documentation attached for the workshops, courses, activities which you are claiming. (For more information about what may count for Continuing Education, please see CE information posted on website).

3. Five copies of signed copy of the NADT Code of Ethics (see Form section of website for this form).

4. $75 reinstatement fee

Send the above four items to:
ATTN: Registry Committee (RDT Reinstatement Request)
NADT
44365 Premier Plaza, Suite 220
Ashburn, VA 20147

When you are reinstated, you will be billed $95 for your registry fee ($115 if you are an RDT/BCT). Registry needs to be renewed annually (May 1st each year).

Renewal of Registry is contingent upon signing and adhering to the NADT Code of Ethics, staying current with annual Registry fees which are due by May 1st each year, and remaining in compliance with the Continuing Education Policy.

Membership in the NADT is included in your registry fee, along with a subscription to Dramascope and access to the Members Forum of NADT which has the NADT Directory, archives of Dramascope, and other online benefits.
